Newsletter - May 2022
Greetings Pop Pickers,
Hope you are all well. We are in that inter-RSD period (the long ceasefire till the next round). If you turned up on 23rd April, then thanks for coming and we hope you had a good time. We did. We don’t like the run up to it but when we see people waiting and no rain clouds the relief is considerable!
Thanks to Cowgirl for a great set and other York band members who turned out to listen.
Anyway, as predicted, a number of lines did not make the main event so Saturday 18th June has quite a formidable line up to offer. We will have at least 200 records and some decent remainders from 23rd April. We will post a list of prices in the next few weeks but as always, just give us a ring to check anything.
We will probably go for a later start so that everyone has a few more zzz’s (possibly 9:00am). Keep an eye on our socials.
There are some decent gigs heading our way at local venues. More of this shortly. For now its…
The Vinyl Eddie T Shirt....limited edition..dual coloured indies only...in various sizes...as modelled recently by our beloved leader..a snip at £15. For now it's...

Connoisseurs Corner
First up is a Led Zep II 1969 version with the rare ‘wreck’ misprint. We got 10 SLF vinyl in one go (rare in itself). A couple have gone but some unusual ones remain.
Kill Em All (Metallica, 1983) is now collectable enough to be in this section. One arrived recently.
Got some slightly smoky Floyds – hence the reduced prices (and the odour is diminishing steadily). Warrior at the Edge of Time, Roadhawks and Astounding Sounds, Amazing Music are not to be sniffed at.
Queen’s come and go (as it were) for reasons someone will know. Two Greatest Hits album, come in and go out quickly. We have just got another two in.
I briefly mention The KLF “White Room”. The third one we have had in in eight years has just come and gone; point is they do exist!
